Let us define "spiritual regeneration."
The word "spiritual" means ever-progressing striving toward future achievements.
A person is not spiritual just because he is religious;
he is not spiritual just because he prays or reads holy scriptures or even because he meditates. "Spiritual" means practical, factual, tangible, provable progress toward future accomplishments.
When ...one is progressively striving for achievement, then he is spiritual.
"Regeneration" means that one's physical, emotional, and mental natures are slowly inflamed
with the purpose and the vision of the future which he plants in his soul.
It means that one says, "In the future I am going to do these things; I am going to be somebody;
I am going to create various activities and projects in the world; I am going to master myself."
Future visions and achievements must create a tremendous fire within us.
With this fire we will energize our physical, emotional, and mental natures.
This is regeneration.
Those who really think about the future and about their future achievements literally bring
into the sphere of their consciousness the fire of their Spirit. They create a fire in their own soul.
Our thinking, plans, and visions for the future eventually break through the layers of the mind
to let the fire of the Spirit regenerate the mental sphere.
This is the real meaning of Pentecost.''
